CORYS and Marubeni Utility Services, a strong partnership

Since 2017, CORYS and Marubeni Utility Services (MUS) have engaged in an exclusive cooperative agreement to bring CORYS Simulation Technology to Japanese customers. 

Marubeni, established in 1858, is one of the oldest and largest trading companies in Japan, with over 40,000 employees in sectors including energy, transportation, aerospace, food and consumer products, and chemical and forest products.

CORYS is proud to have as a partner an established and respected company in Japan like Marubeni Utility Services, as the Japanese rail, nuclear and hydrocarbon industries are among the largest and most advanced in the world.

As part of a joint project, MUS has already delivered a CORYS three-loop PWR simulator, with the MELCOR severe accident training, to the Japanese Nuclear Regulatory Agency, through Mitsubishi Research Institute.This simulator, based upon the CORYS THOR advanced thermal hydraulics models, is used for training, engineering analysis, and human factors engineering.
