Atlantic Methanol Production Company LLC (AMPCO) selects CORYS to upgrade their operator training simulator (OTS).
The OTS model and control & safety systems will be updated along with the facility after the plant turnaround completed in Spring 2020. Changes to the relevant operating procedures will also involve update to the OTS manuals.
AMPCO has been using the OTS at site as part of a comprehensive learning & development training program for its operations staff on Bioko Island in Equatorial Guinea, West Africa. The success of the simulator program has been due to continuous support from AMPCO management to maintain the system.
Several updates to the simulator have been performed since the initial delivery to take into account process and control & safety logic changes to the facility.
CORYS has been collaborating with AMPCO since the initial project delivered in 2015.
