After 9 weeks of installation and 5 weeks of Site Acceptance, the approval of the 2 Gold and Bronze platforms of the future Hinkley Point C power plant simulators in the United Kingdom was granted on 8 April 2022.
These 2 platforms include:

- 1 maintenance station (1 PC, 2 monitors);
- 1 monitoring and alert station (temperature, loss of air conditioning, switch to emergency power, etc.) (1 PC, 2 touch-screen monitors)
- 13 servers
- Input/output systems for the connection of physical desks.
In addition, the GOLD platform is equipped with a video and sound recording and visualisation system, which allows the behaviour of the operators to be analysed during training sessions. The system consists of fixed cameras, joystick-controlled panning cameras, 45″ and 65″ monitors, room microphones and wireless microphones.
This major commissioning was welcomed by former UK Prime Minister Boris Johnson during his visit to the site. Training can now begin.
