The two simulator platforms for the Hinkley Point C EPR power plant are currently being assembled.
Acceptance will be carried out by NNB and EDVANCE as soon as health restrictions allow.
The largest platform offers full-scale simulation of the control room and its backup, and will be linked to an audio and video system so that operators can be observed during exams and emergency drills.
Instructors will have seven screens to monitor trainees. Conversations and video feeds will be recorded so that training sessions can be reviewed afterwards.
