Hitachi Rail Limited has awarded CORYS the tender to supply a replica train driving simulator for their UK rail operator East Midlands Railway (EMR).
The simulator will represent the new Class 810 AT300 SXR and be delivered ahead of the train entering passenger service in early 2023. The simulator will have the latest CORYS driver training technology including an advanced train model simulating normal and degraded modes, a Tablet Instructor Station and the latest visual database technology.
