CORYS assisted SNCF Mobilités in the opening of its new training campus in Saint-Denis, near Paris. The latest generation of Simbox simulators was installed there last July, the high-speed train simulators were moved from Noisy Le Sec and those of the Transilien from Saint Ouen.
The new site now houses more than twenty CORYS simulators including desk and replica simulators representing the SNCF Mobilités fleet.
This large-scale site, dedicated to drivers in the Ile de France region, is also the site for preparing scenarios and building lines for all SNCF Mobilités training sites in France.
Guillaume Keruzoret, Head of the Traction Training Engineering Centre at the SNCF (CIFT), said: “The development of human factor awareness is at the heart of this training system. Uniting in a single site will enable us to promote synergies between the CIFT – responsible for designing training courses and developing simulators throughout France – and the National Traction Training University (UNFT), which implements these courses. We can thus test innovative training solutions in direct partnership with the trainers at the Saint Denis Campus. It is one of the UNFT’s eight traction training centres, notably with the aim of developing the skills model of our trainees. »
