The HEXANA team has received extensive training in the use of ALICES software and its DRAC two-phase thermal-hydraulic library, enabling them to take full advantage of the simulation capabilities for accurate and reliable modelling.
HEXANA will model its entire modular reactor, including the primary and secondary circuits, and optimise its design, well before the construction phase. Thanks to these high-fidelity simulations, it will be possible to identify key design points, evaluate different configurations and validate the most appropriate technological choices.
